Gas Tank Upgrade

In preparation for the four new holiday lodges we’ve had a gas tank upgrade which doubles the previous capacity for lodge heating and cooking. Heating for the new lodges is of course very important and we want to get it right. The new lodges will also have log burners but they still need good reliable central heating to keep guests nice and warm in the winter months!

Lodge Heating

The new gas tanks were unloaded by crane onto a trolly and then push by hand to the new location by two men from Calor Gas. The new location for the tanks will eventually be hidden from view once finished. This upgrade for the lodge heating is essential and with the new capacity should also reduce the amount of deliveries that we will need throughout the year.

Lodge Heating

The old gas tank will be removed at a later date and then the two new tanks connected for the new lodge heating and cooking. We still have a long way to go but we’re getting there slowly!
