Guest Wi-Fi by Starlink

Every holiday lodge has state of the art free Wi-Fi internet for all guests and is delivered through Elon Musk’s Starlink network of small satellites orbiting the earth.

These satellites are launched into space by his other company SpaceX and there are currently over 6,000 in the Starlink network currently orbiting the earth.

Celtic Lodges are located right on the NC500 in countryside between Thurso and John O’Groats and as such we have very few options when it comes to supplying guests with internet. Although very expensive Starlink gives us the one thing that we all come to expect these days, high speed internet.

Most people won’t think twice about where the internet comes from, well now you know where Celtic Lodges free Wi-Fi comes from!
