Yes! We absolutely guarantee that the lowest price available online is by booking direct with us. 

All guests staying in our holiday lodges must be 14 years of age or over and of course accompanied by an adult. 

Check-in is between 3pm and 9pm.

Should you want to arrive later than 9pm please contact us on your day of arrival and we can arrange to leave the lodge key for you in a secure key box and send you the code to open it. 

Check-out is by 10am.

Yes! Celtic Lodges is located right on the NC500 in Scotland between Thurso and John O’Groats.

Yes, if you book one of our holiday lodges direct then we offer the option to extend check-out from 10am to 12 noon for an additional small fee of only £10. 

Sadly there is no step free access/disabled access for our original lodges.

As we are a small local business, late cancellations and no-shows would really affect our business, therefore no cancellation or changes are possible after booking. In case of a cancellation, 100% of the total amount will be charged as cancellation fee. Please only book if you intend to stay.

Sorry pets are not allowed. 

Our holiday lodges are located right on the famous NC500 route which runs around Scotland. We’re just 2 miles from the Castle of Mey between Thurso (11.5 miles) and John O’Groats (7.5 miles). See more details on our Location page. 

Yes, every holiday lodge has free Wi-Fi and the password can be found on the notice board in each lodge.

Each lodge has a dedicated parking area which is suitable for motorbikes, bikes or cars.

Yes! Scotrail operates trains on the Far North Line from Inverness to Thurso. Please consult the current timetable/the Scotrail App as there are only four trains per day run in either direction. 

The 80 bus also travels between the centre of Thurso and John O’Groats (Monday – Saturday only) and this passes by the lodges. You will need to consult Stagecoach for the current timetable and ask the bus driver to stop on the main road by the Scarfskerry junction. Celtic Lodges is only 50 metres from the junction.
